Easy Transition

This is one of my favorite midi skirts. The last time I wore it (here), I dressed it up with a statement clutch and a pair of fancy sandals. But it can just as easily be dressed down. I paired mine with a pair of flats, a tee, and a denim jacket. It’s a great transitioning piece from the seasons that can be perfect for any time of day!

Summer Whites

Although Labor Day is around the corner, I am not ready to give up white just yet. It’s a color I plan on wearing lots of during the coming colder months. But for a summer look, I love mixing a sheer blouse with a pair of pants that’s sophisticated but still fun and easy breezy.

Scenic Routes

This summer, I wore more dresses and skirts than ever before. Usually I stick with my denim cutoffs or any shorts for that matter. But I had fun pairing blouses over my dresses and turning them into skirts. Can I also mention how amazing this view is?! I am not a huge fan of Arizona, but some areas are so beautiful with the mountains with the sun shining over in the late afternoon.

Orchid Evenings

While pink comes in first as my favorite color, purple comes in a close second. But not just any shade of purple, orchid is definitely a favorite that I could wear anytime. And I really like how well it mixed with my navy blue skirt; the light and dark tones offset each other well for an evening look.

I don’t wear monochromatic looks too often. But a classic blue color is one that I can get on board with. Especially when it (unintentionally) has an ombre effect. I also took these pictures on my college campus while I was there to see Jersey Boys on tour. It has only been a year since I have been there, but there are a lot of changes from the last time I stepped foot on campus. It was interesting to see the school in a different way; I didn’t have to race through to get to a class. I could just simply enjoy it’s splendor with the interesting buildings, sitting areas, and reminisce over memories from the school.004 005 006 007002
