I don’t know about you, but I love when my magazines come in the mail! When something that is actually interesting comes for me, there is this excitement that I have to stop what I’m doing so I can start reading and dream of the beautiful items that I want to belong in my closet. However, there are those that prefer to read their magazines on their iPad, for instance. I don’t get the same experience out of reading my magazines electronically; swiping my finger across the screen just doesn’t quite do it for me. I also love to save my magazines that make a great decoration for the coffee table or fill an awkward space in a room. I am curious; which do you prefer: reading an actual magazine or a digital one?
I am currently loving bright colors for summer. Florals are my favorite kind of print. I cannot wait to pair them with simple denim shorts or even start mixing and matching prints, like with stripes. I am also in love with my simple Zara flats that have the most darling ankle strap chain. It certainly adds a little elegance to that simple look. Also, you can never go wrong with a simple pair of sandals either.

It’s wonderful having the day off to spend with family and friends doing fun activities together. Two of my favorite things to do is having a barbecue, which I will be partaking in today, or going to the beach. Unfortunately, I do not live around a beach, so a barbecue is a must! For each activity, I think it’s important to keep it simple. When out in the hot sun, you want to be comfortable to enjoy the company you are in and what you will be doing. I hope you all have a fabulous day and please remember all those that have served.

We have seen these wedges all over the place. From bloggers to celebrities, the Isabel Marant High Top Wedge Sneakers are the trend to be wearing. Recently I saw a picture of Jessica Alba wearing these kicks and realized that Zara had similar pairs too. For the $99 price tag, I think I would scoop up the Zara sneakers over the Isabel Marant’s. What would you do: Splurge or Save?
Ruffles are such a great trend to make the simplest blouse or dress have a little more character. Their feminine look that these frills provide may be a little too much for some, but I think that they epitomize what Spring is all about: light, airy, fresh, and fun!
