Continuing the trip onward, the next stop was the Netherlands; here we stayed in The Hague. Although we wanted to stay in Amsterdam, we wanted to visit areas outside the city, which included the windmills and the tulip festival, so we wanted to stay in a convenient place that would allow us to do that. Before driving to our hotel, we stopped in Kinderdijk and walked along the area which included many windmills that date back to 1740. I also recommend going to visit the inside of one of them; they are really quite incredible! The Hague is a beautiful city; although there isn’t too much to see tourist wise, it’s a great location that has a great history!
