Pretty Pastels

Zara T-Shirt & Heels, ASOS Skirt, Topshop Bag

Looking at this outfit, I have to stop and say to myself, it’s just so pretty. I mean, how perfect are these pastel colors mixing together; the pink, mint, and blue are my favorite trio of colors that I have paired so far. With a pair of sandals, my Saturday afternoon look is perfect for one of those lazy weekends that involve shopping, relaxing by the pool, or out to brunch. Those kinds of days are always the best!001008002 003006

Stages Of Packing

001Carry-on necessities: A large black tote, a good book, and comfy shoes

Over the weekend, I began packing for my trip to Europe on Wednesday. I usually do my packing in stages; a little bit every day. Sunday was spent getting all of the items that will be going on the plane with me.  My iPod, headphones, a good book, a comfortable outfit are my go to items for when I travel. With only today and tomorrow to pack a wardrobe for two weeks, I am already exhausted just thinking about it, but I believe packing a little bit every day relieves stress and I can feel better prepared that I didn’t forget anything!

Totally Clueless

Ray-Ban Sunglasses, ASOS Blouse, Zara Skirt & Heels, BCBG Backpack

One of my favorite films has always been Clueless. Growing up, I always loved the outfits that Cher wore in the movie and always wished that I could dress the same way. But then at certain points in my younger years, it hit me that I’m not going to be able to find those kinds of clothes in the stores (i.e. leather skirts, sheer blouses, backpack purses, plaid). To my delight, the fall and spring seasons seem to have gone back in the Clueless vault and restored almost every trend. This outfit is my recreation of one of the ensemble’s Cher wears in the film with my sheer blouse, leather skirt, backpack, and ankle-strap heels.002006003005

Bon Voyage

005Only one more week until I’ll be back in Europe! This time I’ll be travelling to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. I’ll be there for two weeks visiting many different parts from Paris to Amsterdam, Bruges, and Dresden. I’ve been to France and Germany already, but I’ll be revisiting some of the places I haven’t been to in many years. I went back to our old photo albums to make sure I didn’t miss anything I wanted to see and so here are some old favorites from my 2000 and 2001 trips with my mom and dad!
Be sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to stay updated with my travels next week!002001003004006008009

An Enchanted Evening

001

Ray-Ban Sunglasses, ASOS Blouse and Shorts, Zara Heels, Coach Bag, Michael Kors Watch

I don’t have too many shorts that are for a dressy occasion. Which is strange, since living in AZ, you would think I would, but I usually opt to wear a dress or skirt. However, a pair of printed pants, in a dark print, makes for the ideal piece when dressing for a night out. Keeping with the tone, I went with a dark blouse and black heels for a glamorous evening look.007 005 008 006009
