Happy New Year’s Eve! I am saying goodbye to 2013 and welcoming 2014 with open arms! I’m posting a favorite outfit of mine today which involves a slouchy shirt, winter white jeans, and my favorite smoking slippers. It’s a perfect outfit for warmer AZ winters (we’re talking in the 70s). Cheers to a wonderful night ahead and a new year arriving tomorrow! 219-2373-2 240-2 350-2

A Year in Pictures ~ 2013

2013 A year in PicAs the year draws to an end, it’s always fun looking over the past year and the events that have happened. For me, the great achievements were completing my year long internship, graduating from college, finding a full time job, and investing more time in my blog with original posts (which is what I set out to do at the beginning of the year). I cannot wait to see what 2014 brings! Here are some of my favorite pictures that have been featured on the blog over the past year.019007014041015P1030943 (2)065005062 (2)

Holiday Sparkle

472-3ASOS Blouse, BCBG Skirt, Michael Kors Heels, Vintage Clutch

Merry Christmas Eve! I wanted to feature a festive look for my favorite holiday! You can never go wrong with anything sparkly or metallic for the holidays; that is what a festive look must involve! I am also becoming obsessed with finding that “perfect background” for my outfit pictures because it was essential that I take these pictures in front of a Christmas tree! I had the entire look in my head for a few weeks and these exceeded my expectations with this beautiful tree I found!374-3421-3453-3

Glittery Nails

037-2For  the holidays, I wanted to add some glitz and glittery sparkle to my nails. It’s not too often that I spend this much time on my nails, but I think it’s worth it once in a while especially for Christmas! And I think they came out absolutely amazing! I’m definitely going to be trying some different glittery looks in the near future!

010-2

Assemble the items: Red polish, clear polish, and gold glitter (I love the Martha Stewart glitter!)

025-2First, make sure to remove any previous nail polish and trim your nails to your desired length. Then, paint your nails with the clear undercoat.034-2Paint all fingers, except your ring finger, with two coats of the red color.

036-2Finally, use the clear polish and make a half moon on your nails and sprinkle the glitter on. Also, paint your ring finger entirely with glitter which will give you the final product!
