Happy Halloween! To celebrate today, I decided to bake some festive cupcakes. I simply followed this recipe and with some orange frosting and a candy corn topping, I love how these turned out to celebrate today.

The maxi skirt: the perfect transitioning peace when the weather isn’t quite too cold but still not very warm. I dressed up my maxi skirt a little bit with some glittery shoes (which got a quite a few stares) and a few pieces of jewelry, but kept is toned down with a casual t-shirt. I am already imagining other looks for this skirt which include some ankle boots and jackets!

With cooler weather, warm food is a necessity. I love making delicious soups during the fall/winter season. This particular soup stood out to me when I saw just the name of the recipe. It was very simple to make and the result was outstanding! It had a sweetness that wasn’t overpowering and with the many vegetables, sausage, and tortellini, it had a lot of variation. I highly recommend this for your next meal!
