Asparagus is one of the few vegetables that I really love. When I saw this amazing recipe on Food 52, I had to make it. This recipe probably took me twice as long as it should have, but I have never made anything like this in my previous cooking career. But the work and the wait was well worth it. When this came out of the oven, it was certainly a site to see and not to mention that it tasted as good as it looked; Probably the best thing I’ve ever made!
This weekend I graduated from college! It was such a beautiful day: attending the ceremony, seeing The Great Gatsby, and going to dinner with my family was wonderful. When I was looking for my graduation dress, I headed to Macy’s (they have a variety of great brands from BCBG to Marc Jacobs to Rachel Roy). I tried on about five dresses before I found this dress. This was the one! It had such a gorgeous dark color with lovely flowers that were sprinkled all over that I knew it was the perfect choice for this event.
I am am big fan of little crossbody bags (as seen here and here). It seems to help me not carry too much junk in my purse that I don’t need. I recently read an article that talked about how the smaller bags are an “it” item this season. While I am in love with my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, I certainly wouldn’t mind adding a few of these to my collection.
Metallic’s are a great way to add a noticeable piece to a rather plain outfit that is attention grabbing but not too overpowering. A simple purse for a day look or a pair of shorts for a night out gives off the perfect vibe. I personally love adding the color gold into outfits because I feel this is the perfect color that is classy and yet still very modern.

I was on the hunt for a great pair of Nike sneakers and the strange thing was I actually found a pair my first time looking. These cute pair of sneakers are for one, the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and two, have a great color combination.
